Do people criticize you for thinking too much? Being overly sensitive? You may already realize that you have a heightened sense of awareness, that you feel things intensely, and become easily overwhelmed. No wonder you’re anxious!

  • Persistent or unwanted thoughts
  • Compulsive behaviors
  • Insomnia
  • Stress and transitions
  • Feeling overwhelmed

YOU MAY BE SUFFERING FROM:

  • Panic Disorder

  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder
  • Social Phobia
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
  • Specific Phobia
  • Posttraumatic Stress Disorder

MY WORK is based on the understanding that individuals suffering from anxiety are often highly sensitive people whose acute awareness has become an affliction rather than a gift. Practicing the only solution they know, anxious people often cope with their symptoms by narrowing their world in an attempt to make life more tolerable. However, this attempt to shrink from experience often results in an increase of anxiety, a diminished quality of life, and a fearful, limited existence.

YOUR SENSITIVITY

can be an affliction or a gift — depending on how you use it. Thankfully, there are effective, evidence-based techniques that can help you manage your anxiety.

MY GOAL

is to diminish the suffering associated with anxiety while honoring the sensitive nature of the anxious person. To that end, I offer effective, personalized treatment that addresses the debilitating symptoms of anxiety while encouraging a fuller and richer participation in the world.

MY CLIENTS AND READERS

have often expressed gratitude for finding relief from their anxious symptoms while growing to appreciate the value of their unique sensitivity. Perhaps it’s time for you to receive the gift of living more fully as a sensitive person.
