I
combine
cognitive-behavioral therapy with other
treatment modalities to creatively fit each person's
needs. My aim is to provide clients with the support
and specific tools they need in order to manage
their anxiety. I incorporate evidence-based
techniques to maximize treatment outcomes, and use
quantitative measures to assess therapeutic
progress.
Unlike many other therapists, I also
provide limited home visits when necessary (e.g.,
for the treatment of
agoraphobia or compulsive
hoarding).
I
have a gentle, authentic, and interactive style, and
see therapy as a dynamic and collaborative venture.
It is apparent that I truly love the work I do,
especially because I have the pleasure of helping
people feel better.
